Senior Editor, Pilot (Deferred)

Hey all, Damon here. We're looking for a seasoned editor for an independent pilot for a dark comedy series. Think sharp dialogue, quirky characters, and a slightly absurd premise. It's an exciting project with a killer script, and we're aiming for a festival run. You'll be responsible for assembling footage, refining pacing, and shaping the overall narrative flow of the pilot. Experience with narrative long-form content is key. We're looking for someone who can elevate the material and bring a strong creative vision to the edit. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Please have a solid reel showcasing your narrative work ready to share. Anticipated edit timeline is roughly 4-6 weeks, starting mid-May. This will be mostly remote, with occasional in-person sessions in our New York City editing suite. Compensation is deferred, with points on the backend. We'll provide a comfortable workstation and necessary software. Looking forward to seeing your work!
