Editing for Documentary
We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level editor to join our documentary production. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape compelling narratives for an independent production focused on unique cultural traditions in Seoul, exploring themes of resilience and community. The tone is observational, heartfelt, and visually driven. You'll be working closely with our small team to bring this story to life. Key responsibilities include assembling rough cuts, organizing footage, syncing audio, and incorporating feedback to refine sequences. We're looking for someone with a good eye for pacing and storytelling, even if your professional experience is limited. You should have proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. Access to your own editing workstation (laptop or desktop) and reliable internet for remote collaboration is a must. Please share your reel or any previous editing samples, even student projects, that showcase your style and technical skills. This is a paid position offering $150-300 per day. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of work starting late October 2026, with flexible hours. Footage will be provided digitally, and daily check-ins will be scheduled.
