Editing for Music Video

Seeking an experienced Editor for an upcoming independent music video shooting in Chicago, IL around November 3, 2026. This is a high-energy pop/indie-pop track with a strong visual narrative, aiming for a stylized and dynamic look. We’re looking for someone who can craft a compelling story through quick cuts, creative transitions, and an excellent sense of rhythm to match the song. You’ll be responsible for all post-production editing, including initial assembly, rough cuts, fine cuts, and preparing for color and sound. We anticipate approximately 3 weeks of work, starting shortly after the shoot. Ideal candidates will have a strong portfolio demonstrating their ability to cut music videos or other visually driven content. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is essential, and experience with motion graphics or visual effects integration is a plus. Please submit your reel and a brief cover letter outlining relevant experience. We provide the footage, music, and clear creative direction.
