Editing for Feature Film

A coming-of-age drama about a young musician rediscovering their voice after a personal tragedy, this film explores themes of loss, resilience, and artistic rebirth. We are seeking an enthusiastic entry-level editor to join our team for an upcoming independent production, a feature film with a poignant and heartfelt tone. Your key responsibilities will include assisting the lead editor, organizing dailies, creating assembly edits, and contributing to the overall narrative flow under supervision. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in feature film post-production. You should have a foundational understanding of editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, a strong sense of story, and be eager to learn. Please provide a link to your reel, even if it features student or short film work. This is a paid position at $250 per day flat. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of work, primarily in mid October 2026, with potential for some work extending into early November 2026. Work will be primarily remote, but occasional in-person meetings in Los Angeles may be required. A strong internet connection and your own editing workstation are essential; software licenses can be provided if needed.
