Editing for Pilot
Our upcoming dramatic pilot, a nuanced character study exploring themes of resilience and transformation, seeks a talented Senior Editor to help us bring its vision to life. This project, which we believe has strong festival potential, offers a unique opportunity to shape a compelling narrative. You will be responsible for assembling raw footage, inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects, and collaborating closely with the director to achieve the desired emotional and narrative flow. We're looking for someone with extensive experience in dramatic storytelling, a keen eye for pacing, and a strong sense of visual rhythm. You should be proficient with industry-standard editing software, ideally Adobe Premiere Pro, and possess your own editing workstation. A strong reel showcasing previous dramatic work is essential. We anticipate about 3-4 weeks of post-production work, primarily in late September or early October 2026, with flexible hours. This is a volunteer position offering screen credit, meals during active editing sessions, and the chance to contribute to a meaningful independent production in New York, NY. We are excited to find a collaborative and skilled editor to join our dedicated team.
