Editor, Miami Feature Film

Filming is underway in Miami, FL for our independent feature film, with post-production scheduled to begin in early October 2026. This is an editing position for a dramatic, character-driven story exploring themes of resilience and self-discovery, with some captivating underwater sequences. We are looking for an editor to help shape this narrative into a compelling cinematic experience. You will be responsible for assembling raw footage, inputting music, creating sound effects, and adding graphics, ensuring a cohesive and emotionally resonant final product. Ideal candidates should have experience with industry-standard editing software, preferably DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro. While we welcome applications from all experience levels, a strong reel demonstrating storytelling ability and technical proficiency is essential. We expect about 6-8 weeks of work for this role, approximately 40-50 hours per week. You will need to provide your own editing workstation and software. We will provide all raw media, storyboards, and a clear editorial vision. This is a paid position, offering $200-400 per day, commensurate with experience.
