Editor, Comedy Pilot, NOLA

Hey filmmakers, I'm a Best Boy Grip on an awesome independent comedy pilot shooting in New Orleans and we're looking to bring on an editor. This project is a really fun, quirky comedy with a hint of dark humor, think something along the lines of 'What We Do in the Shadows' meets 'Fleabag.' We've got some great talent attached and a unique script, so it'll be a blast to cut together. We need someone with a strong sense of comedic timing and narrative flow. You'll be responsible for assembling dailies, creating a rough cut, and working through picture lock with the director. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Please have experience editing narrative fiction and be able to send over your reel or examples of your work. We anticipate main photography wrapping up around mid-August, so we'd be looking for you to start editing right after that, likely for a 2-3 week period. We're offering $300-500 a day, depending on experience. We'll be providing all the media files and will have a dedicated space available for you to work, though if you prefer to work remotely with your own setup, that's also an option we can discuss.
