Entry-Level Line Producer (Documentary), Chicago

Our upcoming independent documentary project, a vérité-style exploration of urban community activism, needs an enthusiastic and organized Entry-Level Line Producer. This film promises an intimate, unvarnished look at local heroes and their impactful work. We're seeking someone to handle the crucial logistical and financial aspects of production, ensuring everything runs smoothly on a tight schedule and budget. Key responsibilities include creating and managing schedules, tracking expenses, securing locations, coordinating crew and equipment, and managing permits. This is a hands-on role where you'll be actively involved in bringing our vision to life. No specific gear required. While formal Line Producing experience isn't necessary, a strong background in production coordination, set management, or film school project leadership is highly valued.
