Entry-Level Sound Designer, Sci-Fi Pilot (LA)

We're an independent production seeking an entry-level Sound Designer to join our team for an exciting sci-fi pilot. This project is a character-driven drama with thrilling action sequences and a subtle, atmospheric tone, blending grounded reality with speculative elements. We need someone creative who can help us build a distinctive sonic world that enhances the narrative. Key responsibilities include creating original sound effects, editing dialogue, designing ambient soundscapes, and mixing the final audio tracks. We're looking for someone with a solid understanding of audio post-production workflows and a good ear for detail. You should have access to your own sound design software (like Pro Tools, Reaper, or Logic Pro) and a personal sound library. Please provide a link to your reel or previous work demonstrating your sound design capabilities. This is a paid position, offering $200-400 per day, depending on experience. Post-production for this pilot is scheduled to run for approximately three weeks, starting in the first half of October 2026. The work will primarily be remote, though occasional in-person meetings in Los Angeles, CA may be required. We'll provide all necessary picture lock files and a spotting list.
