Sound Design for Commercial

Seeking an Entry Level Sound Designer for a small upcoming commercial project shooting around November 12, 2026 for a 1-day shoot, followed by 3-4 days of post-production work. Rate is $250/day flat for a total of 4-5 days of work. This commercial is for an independent production promoting a local Austin coffee shop, focusing on a cozy, inviting, and slightly whimsical vibe. We're looking for someone creative to help craft the sonic world, enhancing the warmth and subtle humor of the narrative. Key responsibilities include creating custom sound effects, cleaning up dialogue, mixing music with effects, and delivering final audio masters. You'll need to have your own sound design software (Pro Tools, Logic, Reaper, etc.) and a good set of headphones or studio monitors. While this is an entry-level position, please provide a link to a reel or examples of your sound work, even if it's student projects or personal work. We're not looking for seasoned pros, but for someone with a good ear and a passion for audio storytelling. The client is providing location, talent, and basic production equipment.
