Gaffer (Commercial, London, Remote OK)

We're shooting a commercial in London with remote elements in the last week of September 2026 and are looking for a skilled Gaffer. This is an independent production with a focus on visually striking, high-energy spots for a well-known consumer product. Think slick, dynamic, and a little bit edgy. We need someone who can translate our director's vision into practical, effective lighting setups. Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing lighting plans, managing the grip and electric team, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and collaborating closely with the DP. Experience with LED fixtures and working efficiently on tight schedules is a plus. Please have a strong reel showcasing your commercial work. We're open to all experience levels, from rising talent to seasoned pros, as long as you bring passion and a problem-solving attitude. This will be a 3-4 day shoot with some prep days beforehand, totaling about one week of work. We offer a competitive weekly rate of $2000-3000. Basic grip and electric package will be provided, but your input on specialized gear is welcome. We're a small, nimble crew and value collaborative spirit and creativity. Remote pre-production work is fine, but on-set presence in London is a must for the shoot days.
