Gaffer for Corporate Video (Toronto)

Hey Toronto G&E pals, I'm Ethan, a sound editor, and I'm helping out an independent production looking for a senior Gaffer for an upcoming corporate video shoot. This isn't your grandma's corporate video, it's for a tech firm, focusing on sleek product visuals and dynamic interviews. We're aiming for a clean, modern aesthetic with some creative lighting to make the tech pop. Think sophisticated, not sterile. You'll be responsible for all lighting design and execution, working closely with the DP. We need someone who can translate visual concepts into practical lighting plans, operate independently, and lead a small lighting crew if needed. Experience with LED fixtures and on-location corporate shoots is a must. Bring your own lighting kit, but don't worry, we'll provide specialty gear as required. Shoot dates are roughly April 22-24, long days but not insane, probably 10-12 hours. We're offering $500-800/day, depending on your experience and kit.
