Gaffer (Mid-Level), Corporate Video

We are seeking a talented Gaffer to join our independent production for an upcoming corporate video project in Atlanta. This isn't your typical dry corporate piece, we're aiming for a polished, cinematic look to tell a compelling story about a local business's innovative approach. If you're a creative problem-solver with a strong eye for lighting and a passion for making visuals pop, we want to hear from you. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the Director of Photography on lighting design, skillfully executing lighting setups, managing all grip and electric equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient set. You'll be instrumental in shaping the visual tone and quality of our final product. We're looking for someone with at least 3-5 years of experience as a Gaffer or Best Boy Electric, a solid understanding of various lighting techniques, and the ability to work effectively within a tight schedule. You should have your own basic G&E kit, though specialized equipment will be provided. A strong portfolio or reel demonstrating your lighting capabilities is essential. Ideal candidates will be based in or near Atlanta, GA. Shoot dates are currently planned for late September, early October, approximately 3-4 days of shooting, 10-hour days.
