Gaffer (or Best Boy/Girl) for Quirky Commercial

Hey filmmakers, I'm Priyanka, a Line Producer on an exciting new commercial project. We're looking for a talented Gaffer or Best Boy/Girl to join our London crew. This spot is for a unique, independent brand, with a playful and slightly surreal tone. Think bright colors, dynamic practicals, and some fun, stylized looks. We need someone who can translate creative vision into compelling light. Your main responsibilities will include executing the lighting plan, managing our small lighting package, and working closely with the DP to achieve the desired aesthetic. We're looking for someone with a good understanding of various lighting techniques and a practical approach to problem-solving on set. Please highlight any experience you have with LED units or specialized practical lighting in your reel. We anticipate a 1 to 2-day shoot, likely mid-late May (exact dates TBC). Hours will be standard commercial shooting days. We'll provide a basic lighting kit, but let us know if there's any specific gear you can bring to the table yourself. This is an opportunity to contribute to a visually interesting project and build your portfolio. Compensation is points in the project plus a deferred fee to be paid upon broadcast.
