Lighting for Pilot

Pilot Lighting Toronto, ON any Budget: Deferred pay

Hey everyone, Lucas here. We're gearing up for a pilot episode shoot for an independent production, a dark comedy with some really interesting visual challenges we're excited to tackle. Think a bit Coen Brothers, a bit dry absurdity. I'm looking for a Best Boy Electric to join our lighting team. You'll be working closely with me to execute the lighting design, manage our gear, and ensure everything runs smoothly on set. This is a great opportunity for someone at any experience level, whether you're just starting out or have a few projects under your belt. We're looking for someone enthusiastic, a good problem-solver, and a team player. Familiarity with standard grip and electric equipment is a plus, but a willingness to learn is most important. While we're not requiring you to bring your own gear, showing off your previous work in a reel or portfolio, if you have one, would be helpful. Our shoot dates are approximate, but we're looking at late September early October, likely around 3-4 days. We'll be working standard 10-12 hour days. Deferred pay for this project, but we're offering strong meals, snacks, and a great, supportive set environment. Let me know if you're interested!
