Gaffer (Mid-Level) - Feature Film

Hey filmmakers! We're searching for a talented, mid-level Gaffer for an upcoming independent feature film shooting in Miami. This is a dramatic thriller with a gritty, intense tone, and we're excited about the visual storytelling we're crafting. You'd be responsible for executing the lighting plan, working closely with our DP to achieve the desired look and managing the lighting crew. We're looking for someone with a solid portfolio of feature or high-end short film work, familiar with various lighting setups, and who can problem-solve on the fly. You should ideally have access to a basic kit of lighting instruments, stands, and grip equipment (though we’ll have a larger package available). Please send over your reel and a brief resume outlining your relevant experience. Shoot dates are tentatively set for early August (exact dates TBD), with an average 10-12 hour day. Lunch and craft services will be provided on set. Compensation is a flat rate of $250/day. We're a passionate crew and looking for someone who shares that enthusiasm to help bring this story to life!
