Gaffer (Senior) for NYC Short Film, Revenue Share

Hey filmmakers, we're looking for a seasoned Gaffer for an upcoming independent short film shooting in NYC. It's a suspenseful interpersonal drama, with a subtle psychological edge. We're aiming for a moody, naturalistic look that really elevates the tension. You'd be responsible for designing and executing the lighting plan, working closely with our DP to achieve that specific feel, and managing the lighting crew on set. We need someone with solid experience on narrative sets, who can problem solve creatively with limited resources, and brings a strong portfolio. You should have your own basic kit, including essential grip and electric gear. We're open to discussing specific details, but expect approximately 3-4 shoot days spread across a week or two in late summer, early fall. This is a passion project, offering a revenue share partnership. Meals and transportation will be provided on set. Please send over your reel and a brief intro about your experience.
