Lighting for Music Video

Hey filmmakers, I'm Tomáš, a gaffer, and I'm looking for a skilled lighting technician to join my crew for an upcoming alt-pop music video shoot here in Prague. We're working with a fantastic independent artist on a project with a really cool, atmospheric vibe, mixing dreamy sequences with some punchy, high-energy performance sections. It's a chance to experiment with some creative lighting setups and contribute to a visually striking piece. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with setup, striking, and operating various lighting fixtures, helping shape the light, and generally being an integral part of the lighting department. We're open to all experience levels; if you're enthusiastic and eager to learn, that's what matters most. No specific gear is required from your side, but familiarity with modern LED fixtures, practicals, and light shaping tools is a plus. If you have a reel or some photos of your work, please share them. The shoot is tentatively scheduled for late March or early April, likely two full days, 10-12 hours each. We'll provide all necessary lighting equipment, catering on set, and a positive, collaborative environment. Compensation is $150-300 per day, depending on experience.
