Lighting for Music Video

Looking for a seasoned Gaffer for an upcoming independent music video shoot here in Albuquerque. This project has a really cool, atmospheric vibe, mixing a bit of gritty realism with some fantastical elements, so we're hoping to create some truly unique lighting scenarios. We need someone who can lead a small lighting department, interpret creative concepts, and execute them efficiently on set. Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing the lighting plan, managing gear, and ensuring a safe and productive environment for your team. You should have extensive experience gaffing on narrative or music video sets, a strong understanding of various lighting techniques, and ideally, your own basic kit (though we will have a lighting package. Please let us know what gear you can bring to the table). A killer reel showcasing your best work is a must. The shoot is tentatively scheduled for three to four days in late May or early June, with approximately 10-12 hour days. We're offering $150-300 per day, depending on experience and gear provided.
