Location Scout/Manager, Corporate Video

Hey everyone, I'm gaffing an upcoming corporate video project in Vancouver, and we're looking for an entry-level Location Scout/Manager to join our crew. This project is a series of internal training videos for a tech company, focusing on innovative product development. We're aiming for a modern, clean aesthetic in our locations. Your main responsibilities would be scouting various locations like offices, labs, and collaborative workspaces, obtaining necessary permits, coordinating access, and generally being the point person for all things location-related during our shoot days. You'd also likely be responsible for some basic clean-up and making sure we leave places better than we found them. Ideally, you've got some experience, even if it's just on student films or smaller commercial projects. A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are pretty essential for getting around Vancouver and surrounding areas. We're not expecting you to own a fancy location kit, but an organized approach and good communication skills are key. Please send over an email detailing any relevant experience you have. Shoot dates are approximate, currently looking at 4-5 days of shooting sometime in late May or early June, with 1-2 days of scouting beforehand. Days will be 10-12 hours. We're offering a flat rate of $250/day. Gas mileage for scouting will be reimbursed, and some meals will be provided on set. Looking forward to hearing from you!
