Location Scout/Manager, Pilot (Deferred)

Hey folks, Andre here, a composer working on an exciting new pilot project in Nashville. We're looking for a dedicated Location Scout and/or Manager to help us find and secure the perfect backdrops for our story. It's a character-driven drama, with a bit of a quirky edge, exploring themes of resilience and community in a contemporary Southern setting. We're aiming for a grounded, authentic feel. Key responsibilities include scouting various interior and exterior locations around Nashville, negotiating access, assisting with permits as needed, and generally being our boots on the ground for all things location-related. Experience level isn't as critical as passion and a good eye. If you have some local knowledge and can help us find hidden gems, that's a huge plus. Access to a vehicle is essential, and any prior experience on independent productions is a bonus. No specific gear is required for this role, just your keen observational skills and networking abilities. Shoot dates are TBD but looking at late August or early September 2026, likely 3-5 days. This is a deferred pay position, typical for pilot work, with the understanding that once funding is secured for the series, all deferred roles will be compensated. We'll provide some meals and a great, collaborative environment.
