Locations for Feature Film

Our independent production is gearing up for a dynamic feature film and we're looking for a seasoned Locations Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This project is a gritty crime drama with a strong neo-noir aesthetic, exploring themes of loyalty and consequence within the city's hidden corners. It's a character-driven piece that requires specific, atmospheric environments. You'll be responsible for scouting, securing, and managing all filming locations, including negotiating agreements, coordinating logistics with various departments, and ensuring permits are in place. You will also oversee the Locations PAs and manage the budget for your department. We need someone with extensive experience on senior-level feature film productions. You should have a proven track record of finding compelling and practical locations, especially in the Atlanta area, and be adept at problem-solving under pressure. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential. A portfolio or list of past projects highlighting your locations work is highly encouraged. This is a crucial role for our film's visual identity. We anticipate about 5-6 weeks of prep followed by a 4-week shoot, with principal photography likely starting the last week of September 2026.
