Locations for Web Series

Filming in Montreal, QC, mid October 2026, for an independent web series, we're seeking a passionate Locations Scout/Manager. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama with elements of dark comedy, exploring themes of urban struggle and unlikely connections. We need someone to help us find and secure diverse, visually interesting locations that can capture the raw, authentic feel of the city, from forgotten alleyways to vibrant community spaces. The shoot itself is expected to be 4-5 days, but location work would begin in mid September 2026, on an as-needed basis, probably 2-3 days a week leading up to the shoot. Key responsibilities include identifying potential sites, obtaining necessary permits or permissions, liaising with property owners, and providing practical support on set regarding locations. Experience at any level is welcome; a positive attitude and strong communication skills are more important than a long resume. Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license are essential. We're a small, dedicated team, and while this is a volunteer position, we provide meals on set and a copy of the final project for your reel.
