Locations for Web Series

We need a Location Scout/Manager to hit the ground running, helping us find and secure compelling shooting locations for an upcoming independent web series. This project is a gritty, character-driven drama with a touch of dark comedy, set in contemporary Vancouver. We're aiming for a grounded, authentic feel that truly showcases the city's diverse environments, from hidden back alleys and industrial spaces to cozy, lived-in apartments and vibrant streetscapes. Your main responsibilities will include identifying potential locations based on script breakdowns, negotiating access and rates with property owners, managing permits, and ensuring location logistics for shoot days. We're looking for someone with a good eye, strong communication skills, and an understanding of independent production needs. Previous experience in location scouting or management is great, but we're open to enthusiastic newcomers who can demonstrate resourcefulness and a proactive approach. You'll need your own transportation, a solid phone, and a camera for scouting photos. Shoot dates are TBD but expected to be about 5-7 days in mid October 2026, with 1-2 weeks of prep work leading up to it. Compensation will be discussed based on your experience.
