Locations for Web Series

Our upcoming independent web series, a dark comedy exploring modern anxieties through absurdist situations, is seeking a dedicated Location Scout and Manager. This project offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a visually distinctive narrative. We need someone to identify and secure suitable filming locations across the Los Angeles area. Key responsibilities include initial scouting, obtaining necessary permits and clearances, managing location agreements, and ensuring logistical support during shoot days. You will be instrumental in translating our creative vision into tangible environments. Prior experience with web series or independent film productions in a locations role is required. You should have a strong understanding of LA permitting processes and a valid driver's license. A reel or portfolio demonstrating your work on previous projects is highly valued. The role will involve approximately 3-4 weeks of prep work leading into a 5-day shoot, likely concentrated within September 2026. Compensation is $250 per day, flat.
