Locations for Pilot

Pilot Locations Albuquerque, NM senior Budget: No pay (passion project)

In a post-apocalyptic New Mexico, a lone survivor must navigate treacherous desert landscapes to find a rumored safe haven. We're an independent production seeking a passionate Assistant Location Manager for a proof-of-concept pilot episode, intended to pitch for a series. This gritty sci-fi drama will be a visually striking project with an emphasis on unique, isolated environments. As Assistant Location Manager, you'll work closely with the Location Manager (Luis Delgado) to help secure filming permits, coordinate access to various sites, and manage logistics on set. Responsibilities include scouting support, managing location agreements, ensuring site readiness, and assisting with crew and equipment movement between locations. This is a crucial support role for a senior Location Manager. We're looking for someone with at least 2-3 previous credits in a Locations department role, a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a valid driver's license. While we don't expect you to provide gear, a personal vehicle is highly recommended for scouting. Please share a brief resume or list of relevant experience. This is a passion project, so while compensation is volunteer-based, we're committed to creating a valuable experience and providing IMDB credit. Prep for this pilot will begin in the second half of October 2026, with principal photography planned for 4-5 days within the first half of November 2026, primarily in and around Albuquerque. Meals, craft services, and mileage reimbursement for production-related travel will be provided.
