Locations Scout/Manager, Music Video

Seeking a dedicated Locations Scout/Manager to join our upcoming independent music video production. We need someone who can hit the ground running with excellent location options. This project is a vibrant, high-energy music video for an emerging indie artist, blending urban aesthetics with natural elements, and we're looking for visually striking and unique backdrops. This is a mid-level position, perfect for someone with a few music video or short film credits under their belt. Key responsibilities include researching and scouting potential locations in the Los Angeles area, securing necessary permits and agreements, managing location logistics on shoot days, and maintaining clear communication with the production team. You'll need reliable transportation, a keen eye for detail, and strong negotiation skills. Experience working with city film offices and private property owners is a plus. Please share your reel or a portfolio showcasing your past locations work. Shoot dates are approximately 1-2 days in early September 2026, with an estimated 3-5 days of prep work prior. We're offering a rate of $100-200/day, depending on experience. Lunch and craft services will be provided on shoot days.
