Music Video Editor, Senior (Brooklyn)

Hey filmmakers, I'm a motion graphics artist putting together a team for an exciting new music video. We're looking for a senior editor to cut a visually driven track for an indie hip-hop artist. Think raw, energetic, with a slightly surreal, underground vibe, showcasing performance and some stylized visuals. This isn't your typical pop video, we want something with real edge. Your main responsibilities will be to assemble and refine footage, bring your creative vision to the cut, and collaborate closely with the director and myself on pacing and overall flow. We're looking for someone who can really tell a story without relying on heavy narrative, focusing on mood and impact. You'll need your own editing suite, preferably with Adobe Premiere Pro, and a strong reel demonstrating your music video or commercial editing experience is a must. Shoot dates are TBD, likely 2-3 days in July, with editing to follow immediately. We're estimating about two weeks of post-production work, but we're flexible for the right person. This is an independent production, so while we'll provide all footage and creative direction, your expertise in shaping the final product will be key.
