Offline Editor, London Doc Feature

Documentary Post-Production London, UK mid Budget: $2000-3000/week

London, UK based, starting late August or early September 2026 for approximately 8-10 weeks, our independent production is looking for an experienced Offline Editor for an upcoming feature documentary. This film explores the vibrant, underground world of competitive urban foraging and wild food harvesting. We've got some fantastic, character-driven footage and are looking for someone with a strong storytelling instinct to weave it all together. The tone is observational and engaging, with splashes of humor and genuine human connection. We're aiming for a festival run, so a keen eye for narrative structure and pacing is critical. Key responsibilities include assembling raw footage into compelling sequences, generating initial rough cuts, and collaborating closely with the director to refine the narrative. We need someone who can work independently but also takes direction well. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. Please have at least 3-5 years of experience editing documentary features or long-form content, and a strong reel showcasing your narrative editing skills. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for character-driven stories. We anticipate a 5-day work week, standard hours, with some flexibility as needed. A dedicated editing suite will be provided in a central London location. This is a paid position, offering a competitive weekly rate of $2000-$3000, dependent on experience.
