Production Design for Corporate Video

An independent production is seeking a talented Production Designer for an upcoming corporate video project in Los Angeles. This video will feature a forward-thinking tech company, showcasing their innovative product in a clean, modern, and slightly futuristic aesthetic. We aim for a high-end, sophisticated look that subtly conveys progress and efficiency without feeling sterile. The role involves designing and implementing sets, props, and overall visual environments that align with this vision. Key responsibilities include collaborating with the director to realize the creative brief, sourcing and managing set dressing, props, and materials, and overseeing their installation and strike. You'll be responsible for maintaining the production design budget and timeline. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in production design, particularly for commercial or corporate content, and possess a strong portfolio demonstrating their aesthetic range and problem-solving skills. Production Designer is expected to provide their own basic tools and equipment, but larger rentals and specific set pieces will be covered by production. Shoot dates are approximately October 22-23, 2026, with 1-2 days of prep work prior. Hours will be standard 10-12 hour days. Compensation is $500-800 per day, depending on experience.
