Production Designer, Music Video (NYC)

An indie pop music video with a dreamy, surreal aesthetic is seeking a talented Production Designer. The project blends vibrant color palettes with ethereal, almost otherworldly environments to create a visually striking narrative for an established independent artist. We need someone who can translate imaginative concepts into tangible sets and props. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your creative vision and build out a unique world. Responsibilities include concept development, set decoration, prop sourcing and fabrication, and on-set art direction. You'll work closely with the Director and DP to ensure the visual style is cohesive. We're looking for a mid-level professional with 3-5 years of experience in art direction or production design, ideally with music video or short film credits. The shoot is currently planned for around November 2, 2026, for 2-3 days in New York City, with approximately two weeks of prep beforehand. Compensation is negotiable, and a modest art department budget will be provided.
