Production Designer, Sci-Fi Web Series

Looking for a talented Production Designer to join an independent web series, a serialized gritty sci-fi drama with a strong psychological thriller edge. Think early Black Mirror meets Chernobyl, but with a unique supernatural twist. We’re aiming for a distinctive, grounded look that helps elevate the tension and atmosphere without relying on heavy CGI. As our Production Designer, you'll be crucial in translating our script into a visually compelling world. Key responsibilities include concept development, set design, prop sourcing, and overall aesthetic supervision. You'll be working closely with the director and DP to ensure a cohesive vision. We need someone with a strong portfolio showcasing their ability to create immersive environments, ideally with experience in sci-fi or period pieces. We envision approximately 10-15 shoot days, spread out over a few months starting late summer early fall in the LA area. We will provide locations, some materials, and a small budget for props and decor. This is a passion project offering backend percentage participation, a great opportunity to build your resume with a unique and ambitious story.
