Production for Feature Film

Our upcoming independent feature film, a dark comedy with thriller elements, explores the absurdities of corporate culture gone wrong, blending dry wit with genuinely tense moments. We're looking for a skilled Gaffer to join our crew in Los Angeles for about 3 weeks of work. You'll be responsible for leading the lighting team, implementing the DP's vision, and ensuring safe and effective lighting setups for our approximately 15-day shoot. We need someone who can work efficiently with a small crew and adapt to various practical locations. Key responsibilities include managing gear, overseeing rigging, and working closely with the DP to achieve the desired look. Must have extensive feature film experience, a strong understanding of lighting principles, and a solid network for additional crew if needed. We're providing a basic lighting package and electrics kit, but your expertise in maximizing our resources is crucial.
