Production for Web Series

Seeking an experienced Director of Photography for an independent web series filming in Sydney, AU. This is a gritty, character-driven drama, exploring themes of resilience and urban struggle, with a visually compelling, naturalistic tone. We're looking for someone who can craft a powerful visual narrative on a lean budget, bringing a strong creative vision to every frame. Your key responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the director to establish the visual style, overseeing all aspects of cinematography, lighting, and camera operation, and managing the camera department. We need someone who can work efficiently and innovatively under pressure, contributing significantly to the project's overall artistic success. Applicants should have extensive experience as a DP on narrative productions, a strong understanding of visual storytelling, and a comprehensive reel demonstrating diverse work. You should ideally own or have access to a professional camera package (e.g., Blackmagic Pocket, Sony FX line, or similar) suitable for cinematic web content, along with basic lighting and grip equipment. We’re planning a 3-week shooting block, aiming for the last week of September 2026 for prep and early October 2026 for principal photography, with a flexible schedule.
