Production for Short Film

Seeking a talented Production Designer to bring a unique vision to our upcoming short film. This is a character-driven, psychological drama exploring themes of memory and isolation, with a subtle surrealist edge. We need someone who can create evocative, atmospheric sets and props that enhance the story's emotional depth, transforming ordinary locations into something truly memorable. Responsibilities include concept development, set decoration, prop sourcing, and managing a small art department team. This role requires strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail. Ideally, you'll have experience in short film or independent projects and possess a reliable kit of essential design tools. Please have a portfolio or reel showcasing your best work. The main shoot is scheduled for 1-2 days in late September 2026, with prep starting about three weeks prior. Compensation is deferred (points plus deferred payment) as is common for independent shorts. This is a great opportunity to collaborate on an exciting project and add impactful work to your reel.
