Screenwriter, Independent Feature Film

Seeking a talented Screenwriter to help us shape the final draft of an upcoming independent feature film. This project is a character-driven drama, with elements of psychological thriller, exploring themes of memory and consequence. We have a strong treatment and some initial scene work, but need a writer with a unique voice to develop the full screenplay, focusing on compelling dialogue and a tight narrative structure. You'll work closely with the director and producer, bringing creative solutions to story challenges and ensuring the script is ready for production. While previous feature film credits are a plus, we're open to writers with strong portfolio samples, especially short film scripts or produced web series. This is a remote-friendly position, but preference will be given to candidates in Los Angeles, CA who can attend occasional in-person meetings. Compensation is $200-400 per day, based on experience and scope of work, for about 3-4 weeks of dedicated writing in September 2026.
