Screenwriting for Feature Film

An independent production is seeking a mid-level Production Assistant to support our upcoming feature film project. This is a dramatic thriller with a grounded, intimate tone, exploring themes of resilience and difficult choices. It's a character-driven story that offers a unique creative challenge. We're a small, dedicated team and need someone reliable to help keep things running smoothly. Key responsibilities include assisting the Producer and Director with administrative tasks, coordinating logistics, managing communications, and providing general on-set support during principal photography. You'll handle scheduling, help with location scouting and permits, and assist with equipment rentals. We are looking for someone proactive and organized, capable of working independently and as part of a team. Applicants should have at least 2-3 years of experience in film production, preferably on a feature or high-level short. While a specific reel isn't required for this role, please include references from previous film projects. This position is based in Lagos, NG, but we are open to remote work for specific coordination tasks. Principal photography is tentatively scheduled for October 2026, lasting approximately 4 weeks, with some prep work beforehand. Compensation is $250/day flat.
