Screenwriter, Independent Feature Film (New Orleans)

This is a character-driven, psychological thriller feature film exploring themes of urban decay and personal redemption, set against the vibrant but often overlooked backdrop of New Orleans. We're looking for an entry-level screenwriter to join our team for an independent production. You'll be working closely with the director and producer to develop and refine the script. Key responsibilities include participating in story meetings, writing and revising scenes, and ensuring the narrative flows smoothly while maintaining the established tone. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for original, thought-provoking cinema. No specific gear is required, but familiarity with screenwriting software (e.g., Final Draft, Celtx) is a plus.
