Screenwriting for Web Series

Hey filmmakers, my name is Jasmine and I'm a Wardrobe Supervisor working on a really cool independent web series. We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level screenwriter to join our team in Los Angeles. This series is a thrilling mystery, a six-episode arc with a very unique, slightly dark comedic tone. Think twisty plots mixed with unexpected humor. We're aiming for something fresh and binge-worthy. Your main responsibilities will include writing episode outlines, drafting scripts, and participating in writers' room discussions. We'll provide mentorship and support as you develop your craft. You'll need to be an excellent storyteller, have a strong understanding of narrative structure, and be able to hit deadlines. While no professional experience is required, please submit a writing sample or a short script you're proud of. Familiarity with scriptwriting software (Final Draft, Celtx, etc.) is a plus. Shoot dates are TBD, likely early spring, but writing will begin sooner. This is a great opportunity to get a credit on an exciting project and build your portfolio. Compensation is negotiable and based on experience.
