Screenwriting for Web Series

A quirky web series about a group of friends navigating the absurdities of adulting in New York City is seeking an entry-level screenwriter. This independent production offers a fresh, comedic take on everyday challenges, blending witty dialogue with character-driven plots. We're looking for someone to help develop episode outlines, write scripts for specific episodes, and contribute to story arc planning for a 6-episode season. Key responsibilities include brainstorming with the showrunner, crafting engaging dialogue, and ensuring character consistency. You should have a strong understanding of web series format, a knack for comedic timing, and ideally some samples of your previous screenwriting work (short films, web series, spec scripts). While specific gear isn't required, a reliable computer and screenwriting software are essential. Experience with collaborative writing environments is a plus. We anticipate approximately 3-4 weeks of work spread out from around November 17, 2026, with flexible hours. This is a great opportunity to gain professional experience and contribute significantly to an exciting new project. All payments will be processed within 5 business days of work completion.
