Senior Gaffer, Pilot Production (Bristol)

Hey everyone, we're looking for a skilled Senior Gaffer for an exciting pilot production shooting in Bristol. This is a dramatic thriller pilot, quite intense with some fantastic visual storytelling opportunities. We need someone who can really bring their creative lighting expertise to the table and help us define the look of this show. Key responsibilities include designing and executing lighting plots, managing a small lighting team, ensuring all electrical safety standards are met, and generally making everything look cinematic and moody. You'll be working closely with the Cinematographer to achieve their vision. We're looking for someone with extensive experience on narrative projects, ideally pilots or features. You should have your own kit package, including a range of versatile lighting fixtures, stands, grip equipment, and essential electrical distribution gear. Please provide a link to your reel or website showcasing relevant work. Shoot dates are approximately 5 days in late August or early September 2026, likely 10-hour days.
