Senior PD, Sci-Fi Web Series (Paid)

Hey filmmakers, I'm Alex (2nd AC) and we're looking to bring on a talented Senior Production Designer for an upcoming independent sci-fi web series here in LA. This project is a really cool, gritty take on a near-future dystopia, with a lot of practical effects and world-building opportunities. Think a mix of Blade Runner and District 9, but on a web series budget. We're aiming for a strong visual identity that feels lived-in and authentic. You'd be responsible for conceptualizing and executing the overall aesthetic, designing sets, sourcing props, and working closely with the director and DP to make sure our vision comes to life. We need someone who can be resourceful and creative with limited resources, someone who thrives on building compelling environments from scratch. Ideally, you’ll have your own basic kit or access to rentals, but we can discuss specific needs. Shoot dates are tentatively set for late July/early August, 10-12 hour days for approximately 15-20 days total. We'll provide craft services and some transportation assistance if needed. Looking for someone with a strong portfolio showcasing previous production design work on narrative projects, especially anything with a sci-fi or genre bent.
