Senior Screenwriter for Sci-Fi Pilot (Atlanta, GA)

Atlanta, GA shoot anticipated late September for a 5-day schedule on an independent production. We're seeking a senior screenwriter for the pilot episode of a grounded sci-fi series with a tense, psychological thriller tone. Think Black Mirror meets Arrival, exploring themes of existential dread and technological consequence. This is a unique opportunity to craft compelling dialogue and develop intricate plot points for a high-concept story. Your key responsibilities will involve finalizing the pilot script, including scene breakdowns, character arcs, and refining dialogue to fit the established tone. We'll need you to be available for collaborative meetings with the director and producers during pre-production to ensure the story vision is fully realized. We're looking for someone with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work in dramatic or genre storytelling, ideally with produced credits. Compensation is $300-500 a day, depending on experience.
