Sound Design for Documentary

Hey everyone, I'm working with an independent production on an upcoming documentary series and we're on the hunt for a talented mid-level Sound Designer. This series delves into the untold stories behind some legendary stunts and action sequences, so it's got a really gritty, impactful, and often emotional tone. We need someone who can craft immersive soundscapes bringing these high-stakes moments to life, from subtle environmental details to huge, visceral impacts. You'll be responsible for all aspects of post-production sound design and mixing, ensuring a polished, broadcast-quality final product. We're looking for someone who owns their sound design software and has a strong portfolio showcasing their documentary work. Experience with foley recording and dialogue clean-up is a big plus. The project is based in New York, NY, with an approximate 8-week commitment this fall, working standard 10-hour days. We provide all necessary footage and clear creative direction.
