Sound Designer, Web Series (Seoul)

Hey everyone, I'm Ji-Hoon Baek, a VFX Supervisor working on an independent sci-fi web series based in Seoul. We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Sound Designer to join our team for this really cool project. It's a suspenseful sci-fi thriller, think dark, atmospheric, with a strong focus on building tension through sound. We’re aiming for a distinctive sonic landscape that really enhances the story. Your main responsibilities will involve designing and implementing all sound effects, foley, and atmosphere for a few episodes. Experience with dialogue editing and mixing a plus, but primarily focused on creative sound design. You’ll need to have your own professional-grade sound design software and be comfortable working remotely for the initial stages. A reel showcasing your sound design work is absolutely required; even student or short film projects are great. We anticipate sound design work starting mid-August, with an estimated commitment of 3-5 days per week for about 4 weeks. This is a paid position, offering $500-800 USD per day, depending on experience. While you'll be working independently, I'll be available for creative feedback and collaboration.
