Sound Designer for Sci-Fi Mystery Short

Looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our exciting independent short film project, a sci-fi mystery. We're aiming for a suspenseful, atmospheric tone, blending subtle electronic elements with organic textures to build an immersive world. This project has a ton of potential for creative sound design to really elevate the narrative. Your key responsibilities will include creating and shaping all sound effects, ambient tracks, and foley, as well as final audio mixing and mastering. We're looking for someone with a strong ear for storytelling through sound, able to work independently and contribute creatively to the overall vision. Ideally, you'll have your own sound design workstation and a solid understanding of professional audio software. A strong reel showcasing your previous work, particularly in sci-fi or mystery genres, is essential. This is a mid-level position, so we're seeking someone with a few short film credits under their belt who is looking to grow. While specific dates are flexible, post-production is expected to start in late summer. This is a partnership opportunity, offering revenue share as the film enters festival circuits and distribution.
