Sound Designer, Mid-Level (Web Series)

Hey everyone, I'm Robin, a storyboard artist putting together a team for a new web series. We're looking for a talented mid-level Sound Designer to join us in Chicago, IL. This project is a darkly comedic sci-fi web series, exploring near-future tech with a quirky, off-kilter tone. We're aiming for a really unique soundscape to enhance the visual storytelling and bring our world to life. Your main responsibilities will include designing, mixing, and mastering all audio elements, including foley, SFX, and dialogue clean-up, ensuring a high-quality final product. You'll need to have your own sound design software and relevant gear, and a strong reel demonstrating your creative sound work is a must. Prior experience on narrative projects, especially web series or short films, is preferred. Compensation is $2000-3000 per week, depending on experience. While exact dates are flexible, we're looking to start around late summer, early fall, with an estimated 4-6 week commitment. We'll handle all recording studio access and provide a comfortable workspace. Excited to see your work!
