Sound Designer, Web Series (Atlanta)

Hey filmmakers of Atlanta, I'm a Construction Coordinator on an exciting upcoming independent web series and we're looking for a talented Sound Designer to join our team. This is a gritty, character-driven drama, think early Coen Brothers meets Atlanta's current vibe. It's a passion project with a lot of heart, and we're aiming for a really unique sound design to elevate it. Your main responsibilities will involve creating and implementing all sound effects, foley, and ambient audio to enhance the storytelling and overall atmosphere. This includes cleaning up dialogue tracks, designing specific soundscapes for various scenes, and ensuring a cohesive audio experience for the entire series. We're looking for someone with a strong ear for detail and creativity. Ideally, you’ll have your own sound design software and access to a decent sound library. If you have a reel showcasing your previous work, that's a big plus, but we’re open to all experience levels if your passion and talent shine through. Shoot dates are approximate, probably 10-15 days total over a few weeks, mostly weekends, starting late spring/early summer. Hours will be typical film set days. We’ll provide meals on set, and compensate you at a rate of $150-300 per day, depending on experience. Come help us make something special!
