VFX for Feature Film

An independent production based in NYC is seeking a talented VFX Artist to join our post-production team for an upcoming feature film. This psychological thriller, set against the backdrop of a vibrant, high-stakes art world, requires a subtle yet impactful approach to visual effects to enhance its suspenseful atmosphere and character driven narrative. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through visual enhancement, not just spectacle. Key responsibilities include compositing, wire/rig removal, greenscreen keying, minor set extensions, and potentially some motion graphics work to support specific plot points. Candidates should be proficient in industry-standard VFX software, such as After Effects, Nuke, or Fusion. Please submit a reel demonstrating your abilities in realistic compositing and problem-solving, along with a brief resume. We anticipate this role will involve about 3-4 weeks of work, potentially starting around October 19, 2026. This is a deferred compensation opportunity, perfect for an entry-level professional looking to gain feature film credits and experience on a compelling project.
