Gaffer (Entry) for Pilot Shoot, Seoul

Hey filmmakers, I'm a VFX Supervisor working on an exciting independent production, a dramatic pilot set in a near-future Seoul. We're looking for an enthusiastic entry-level Gaffer to join our crew for a short shoot. This project has a cool, slightly melancholic visual style we're aiming for, and a strong sense of atmospheric lighting will be key to capturing that. Your main responsibilities will include assisting our DP with lighting setups, managing power distribution, and ensuring all lighting equipment is safely operated. You'll get hands-on experience with various fixtures and learn a lot about shaping light for narrative. We need someone who’s a quick learner, has a positive attitude, and can work well in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you'll have some basic knowledge of electrical safety and lighting principles. Please have reliable transportation to our locations in Seoul. Shoot dates are tentatively scheduled for late May, approximately 4-5 days of filming, with typical 10-hour days. We'll provide all necessary lighting gear, craft services, and some incredible on-set experience. Deferred payment will be provided upon project completion and distribution.
